I tried using hidock.com and just got worn out quickly. I’m already tired of websites making you dig around for basic info, and this one felt like more of the same. The pages weren’t very clear, I kept having to click through different spots, and even on my phone it didn’t feel smooth. Maybe it works fine for other people, but for me it was just another frustrating site experience I didn’t have the energy for.

I really wanted to like it, but it keeps messing up at the worst times. One day it works fine, then the next it don’t do what it’s supposed to. At this point, I just can’t trust it anymore.

I had to run the update twice, which was a little annoying, but it actually fixed my sync issue 🙂 Things are working okay now, so I’m happy with it overall!

I tried using the Hidock app for a few days, and wow, what an adventure. The layout is confusing, buttons seem to have their own personal agenda, and switching between pages feels slower than it should. It took me way too long to find basic settings, which is always fun when you just want the thing to work. Maybe the device itself is fine, but the app makes everything feel half-finished. I gave it another shot today and finally just gave up...

I’ve been using Hidock for calls and overall it feels safe. The privacy settings are easy to find, and I like being able to control what gets saved. I’m not giving it 5 stars because some of the security info isn’t explained as clearly as it could be, so I had to click around more than expected. That part feels avoidable, honestly. Still, I feel comfortable using it for work stuff.

The audio quality was really bad. I had to keep messing with the volume and replaying parts just to understand what was being said, which felt like extra work I shouldn’t have had to deal with

I’ve been using hidock mostly for calls and taking notes, and when it’s connected, it actually works well. Getting it set up wasn’t too bad either, so that part was nice.

The only real problem is the connection will randomly drop or take a minute to come back, which gets annoying during meetings. It’s not happening constantly, but it happens enough that I notice it, especially when I’m trying to deal with that whole thing and keep the conversation going. Hopefully they can smooth it out.

I bought this thinking it would be pretty much plug-and-play, but it gave me trouble with both my Windows laptop and my Android phone. I kept having to unplug it and reconnect it just to get things working again. Maybe it works fine with other devices, but it definitely didn’t play nice with mine. Anyway.

I got this mostly because I needed something better for calls, so I was expecting it to make my voice sound clearer and more reliable. Unfortunately, it pretty much did the opposite. People kept telling me I sounded muffled or like I was far away, and every now and then my voice would cut in and out.
I tried messing with different cables and settings hoping it was just a quick fix, but nothing really made a big difference. For something I thought would make calls easier, it ended up being more frustrating than my old setup, so I just switched back.

I really wanted to like HiDock because the concept is great, and when it worked, it did make parts of my call workflow feel easier. But with my Google Meet and Zoom meetings, the integration was inconsistent. Sometimes it missed meetings altogether, and other times it showed the wrong ones, which meant I couldn’t really rely on it. Support did eventually respond, but it took longer than I hoped, and I still ended up taking my own notes just to be safe. It has potential, but for something that’s supposed to save time, it was more frustrating than helpful for me.

I’ve been using the AI summaries after calls, they do save me time. Most of the important stuff is there, which is really handy, really handy when I don’t want to go back through everything. Every now and then it misses a small detail or phrases something a little weird, but overall it’s still useful and I keep using it.

i really wanted to like this, but the design just doesn’t work well in everyday use. it looks decent in the photos, but once it’s on the desk it feels kind of bulky and not very well thought out. the buttons and ports are in awkward spots, and it takes up more space than i expected. after using it daily for a bit, it got annoying quickly. for the price, i feel like the ergonomics should be a lot better.

I reached out to Hidock support because something was off with my order, and to be fair, they did get back to me. It just felt slower than I thought it would be, maybe because I was checking my email too much, but still. The first message they sent was basic and didn’t really fix anything, so I was a little annoyed.
After going back and forth a few times, they did sort it out and the problem got fixed. So I can’t really say it was bad, because in the end it worked, but it also wasn’t exactly smooth. I’d say their support is okay if you’re not in a rush or if the issue isn’t super urgent.

I was excited to try this speaker, but the sound ended up being weak and tinny. I expected it to have a lot more depth, especially for everyday use. Has anyone else had the same issue with it?

The mic is fine for regular calls, and people can generally hear me without a problem. That said, my voice does come through a bit muffled sometimes. It’s not a dealbreaker, but for the price, I think it’s reasonable to expect clearer audio.

Overall, the transcriptions are solid and usually accurate. The only thing is that it still messes up names here and there, which can be a little annoying, but it’s not a dealbreaker

It feels sturdy enough for everyday use, but I don't know, it doesn't feel cheap exactly, more like a bit lower-end than I expected.

It’s been solid for me overall. I’ve been using it here and there and it just kind of does what it’s supposed to do, which is always nice. It did crash on me once, which was annoying for a second, but that was the only time, so I can’t really complain too much.

It took me forever to get it connected, and the app kept freezing while I was trying to set everything up. Maybe I just had a bad run, but if this is the normal setup experience, I can see a lot of people getting frustrated quickly.

For what I paid, I expected a lot more. It just feels overpriced for what you actually get, and after using it for a bit, I still don’t really see the value. What made it even more frustrating was the lack of any real human contact when I had questions, everything felt automated or like I was being pushed through a system. Maybe it works for some people, but for me, it definitely wasn’t worth the money.
